Africa Rising
We created semi abstract and emotive piece of art that would be used as a logo for the call upon Africa to rise up from the ashes and be the influence she is meant to be. In the Africa rising artwork we show Africa rising to the beat of a drum call. Though presented with a still image, on seeing the artwork one immediatley feels a sense of upward movement or motion. To achieve this we created upward paint strokes at the bottom of the map joining with the drum and also through out the map.
